Hamilton County Parks and Recreation has scheduled Zoomie Fest for Wednesday evening at Chester Frost Park’s Dog Paddle Park in Hixson, Tennessee. The free event runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and promises games and contests for dogs—and, in a generous concession to the humans, their people too.

The county’s listing says all ages are welcome, no registration is needed, parking is free and food and beverage vendors will be on hand. The event is planned for rain or shine, with weather updates posted if severe conditions change the plan.
